i ordered a set of 225/40/18's...how far would that throw the speedometer off?

Its not that bad, they are 1.9% off and will make a -2% on your speedo (so if you do 100 it will show 98 on your speedo.
But since the factory speedo is anyway not 100% accurate (it always shows a bit more more than you acutally drive) this should work out fine.

+1 for hubcentric rings. These are required ... without them the only thing centering the wheels on the hub is lug nuts. I was getting vibrations without them.

Hi

I am trying to decide on the following set ups:

1) XXR 527 18x8.75 +35mm offset (225/40/18 Tyre)
-With BC BR Coilovers

Or

2) XXR 527 18x8.75 +20mm offset (225/40/18 Tyre)
-With BC BR Coilovers
-SPC LCA (For a -2 Degree Camber adjustment)
-Rolled fenders

Has anyone tried the second option? I have been looking far and wide, and could not find much on the XXR 527 18x8.75 +20mm

Everyone that went for the +20mm offset rim chose the 9.5J ....

Reason for that being ? Go Big or Go Home? Or is the 8.75J 20mm offset not appealing?

I am trying to figure out if it will be a little more practical than the 9.5J 20mm

(I think I need to learn more about wheel set up)

Your help is appreciated.

I will poke about 20mm out front and around 15mm out back, you will need 3+ camber if don't want any poke. 8.75 +35 is considered the flush setup for these wheels.

You don't need new center caps but the ones included are awful looking. No spacers are needed for that size. I run the same size with similar springs. Check out my build thread in my signature for more info. If you were closer I would try to sell mine to you.
