The least you can do is use the $5k difference to make it faster but if that's what the conversation devolves into then neither car wins the "How fast can you go for $30k while still driving it to work" competition. |

I rented a Hyundai i10 in Mexico last week. It has 79hp. Yup, 79. It also had a lazy manual transmission that had syncros that would flip out if you shifted at anything faster than 1/4 of normal speed, terrible brakes, etc.
Not that I had any expectations, but I only bring it up because with everybody who calls the twins slow, this absolutely re calibrated what a slow car really is. I'd wager it was a full 16 seconds for this pile to hit 60mph. By comparison, getting home to my Frs was like hopping into a viper. I know our cars aren't all that fast, but to call them slow is just absurd. |

There are many on this forum who do not speak highly of the 370z because we were infested by hordes of trolls from their site a couple of years back...needless to say, it put me off of their community

2 things put me off. 1. The price was $45k 2. The sales staff and manager in particular were ****s Hyper aggressive staff and manager refused to give me the price of the car without some personal info. The situation damn near felt hostile. He asked me what I wanted to pay and I told him $35k. He told me to be realistic and not waste his time. I told him he asked so I told. He asked what I based it off of. I told him I based if off the fact I could get a brand new Mustang GT with track pack and recaro racing seat for $35k (which was true because I had just come from Ford with an offer). He laughed and then told me $42 was the lowest he could go. Anyways, the 370z Nissmo would be a great car for even $38k but over $40k its a joke. |

The price is what made it nissmo z such a huge disappointment. Their sport models can be had for <=$30k easily. Nissmo is not worth $15k more. I ended up putting in a custom order on a new corvette yesterday. Figured if I was gonna spend over $40k may as well go while hog! |

But 370Zs are fairly plentiful, while the Nismo is a bit rarer. Don't expect the same discount.

Z w/ sport pack I believe is worth 30k. It's a good value for the money, I just had the same situation as tennis freak. I absolutely loathed and hated my dealership experience with nissan. The salesman was a total ass and was pressuring beyond belief. the toyota dealership across the street? They saw I was interested and tossed me the keys to a MT FRS they had on lot. Night and day difference and if I was just a casual car shopper that alone would have swayed my purchase. |

I agree. I didn't say it was worth the price of admission, I was just saying that the prices of Nismos wont get slashed the way they do the standard Zs.

Internet top tip: Comment sections are nothing more than quagmires of a mental poison. Refrain from reading because if you read enough of them you will eventually want to join them and once you've joined them you will be lost for ever... you will be.. one. of. them.
