How important is the application of the flange sealant to the 4 posts that the laminova core sits on?

Considering it's supposed to provide cushion for the core so that it won't rattle around or somehow become damaged, pretty important.

Also how long did it take to add the 2200 mL coolant to the intercooler? I added about 1300 mL so far with the pump running and it's at max level on the bottle. I tried squeezing the hoses

The system takes a while to bleed. Getting some temperature in it seems to help too. You may find it better to do it over a couple of drive cycles as movement also helps.

Yeah I tried letting it sit with the key in ignition on "on" position and let the pump run. Squeezing the hoses helped some. I still have almost 700 mL to add to make it 2200mL. Driving it helped too. Is it ok to continue to drive it without all the coolant in it? Gotta go to work tomorrow

hi guys, please add me to the owners list.. just installed/purchased a used kit. one question... where can I find the belt that works with a 70mm pulley? I got tuned today and it seems like I have a slight belt slip losing power on the top end... also a slight vacuum leak somewhere as my tuner had to tune very conservatively after noticing the AFR on idle.

video of dyno:

252hp and 215ft lbs with 91 octane.

Just keep an eye on it and top up if necessary. There's no issue, you just won't get optimal cooling. So long as the pump isn't running dry then you're good.

Known for burning oil AND a factory spec that says you can expect to burn half a quart per 3000 miles under normal driving I see as fine.

Sprintex says change the oil at 20k but people are finding the charger empty at 5k. That does not seem to be okay and the manufacturer has no response on the issue.

Unlike most people I'm not comparing dyno plots for the different types of FI as I shop, I'm comparing possible irritation levels. I love the AVO turbo kit but freaking hate exhaust leaks. I love the Innovate kit but there seems to be a decent number of seal problems as well as this vanishing oil.

I never said it was ok. I'm simply stating that it has shown to have 0 effect on any setup thus far. Its not really irritating to check the level of it more often. Its better practice anyways.

That being said, it is something that Sprintex should address. There is no excuse for having a 20k interval when it clearly will not make it to that point.

When I pulled my blower off to check on everything, I drained all the oil and was still able to turn the rotors and get oil from the gear case on them. I'd wipe them off and then keep turning and more little spots of oil kept showing up. Definitely a sealing issue.

Well I finally read this whole damn thread. It took a while. But to everyone who has posted anything of value, thank you. The information has been good. I am glad there where others who went first and found issues before me.

I am now a proud owner of a Sprintex 210/intercooled kit. I am buying supporting mods now and will install and tune in early April. I have an AX and track event in March that I want to run before I go FI.

Anyways, just wanted to say hello and thanks for the 278 pages of reading.

I'm currently using this exact belt. It's a pretty snug fit on the 69mm pulley. It'll be very tight on the 70mm pulley and I suggest getting another pair of hands to help hold the breaker bar (on the tensioner pulley) whilst you try and slip the belt on.
