Here's some more recent (last fall) pictures of the car with the front lip on. No more exterior changes have been made so this is also how it looks currently.

Love it! Nice to see proper automotive passion in the younger generation! I say that like I'm an old man, but I'm actually only 2 years older than you...

Keep up the awesome!

BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES

Since i'm on Spring Break this week, i thought it would be a good time to upgrade the braking system. The car is at nearly 20,000 miles. Here's what i decided to go with:

DBA T3 4000 Series rotors

Ferodo DS2500 pads

Spiegler lines

Motul RBF600 fluid

Racer X Fabrication Master Cylinder Brace

ARP Extended studs (figured i might as well do them while everything was off)

I'll have more pictures up later this week/early next week of everything installed and broken in and what i think of it all.

So after leaving the car while waiting on parts during Spring Break, i got back and finished installing all the brake components that hadn't been yet. Bled the system (which went surprisingly well) and only had one real snag during the whole job with the passenger-side front hardline fitting being a real bitch to get off. However, when i was putting the wheels back on and getting ready to go bed the pads and rotors in, i noticed this...

Long story short, i decided not to chance it and left the car at home for the week. New tire came in today, should be back working on and driving it tomorrow.

Brakes are on and everything is bedded in and i'm back to driving the car. When they're cold, the setup isn't that much more aggressive than the stock setup while driving around town. However, once everything's warmed up the difference is noticeable even at street speeds. I'm really looking forward to seeing how they perform on track and after that i'll be able to offer more insight.

Also installed the Berk Technology catless front pipe the other day. I'd eventually like something catted and resonated to use with catless Tomei EL headers (eventually), but this was the best combination of quality and price for something catless. My setup is now: Stock header --> stock overpipe --> Berk front pipe --> stock "midpipe" --> Nameless track pipe

The sound of the car changed quite a bit in both tone and volume with the addition of the front pipe. Where as before with only the track pipe it was a bit higher pitched (it's all relative, i'm used to rotaries) the sound throughout most of the rev range has gotten deeper. It really has the boxer burble now. It's also louder 90% of the time but it's nothing unbearable. I have noticed that cruising at 70-80mph on the highway it is quieter once you get up to speed, so that's a plus. Honestly, it sounds gnarly and i'm really happy with it. Time will tell if that feeling stays or not though.

Hitting the Import Alliance Spring Meet in Atlanta this weekend, it'll be my first show/meet in quite a while. Let me know if you'll be there

Bump from the grave.
You never posted pics from the GTA event at Road Atlanta back in 2016!

I know you've recently sold the car, but I've sent you a PM.
