Boxerfest is a Subaru event, but it is open to all car enthusiast. There are many lovers of subarus but they may drive other car brands like BMW, Mitsubishi, Mazda, etc. why should they have to create a whole ft86club forum membership for one event, when more than 90% of car community uses Facebook. Boxerfest as well uses Facebook and has an event. I post this info in the forum so my BRZ community in the NOVA area that I may not have as a friend on Facebook, have the opportunity to meet and join others on a cruise that should be lots of fun. I have 41 people that are confirmed coming on Facebook and about 5 are from this forum.

I actually found his cruise through facebook and not this forum through "a friend is going to this" type post from FB

Ok so tech opens at 8am, mandatory drivers meeting at 9am. The facebook event shows the cruise starting at 8am. I don't know how to resolve that without further input lol. Are we actually planning to leave sooner? Otherwise I'm probably gonna have to just head there directly.

Autocrossers have to enter earlier than the everyone who is just hardparking. I can't see the bookface stuff and don't get why it's not posted here, but if you're autocrossing, you need to be there early.

I'm not running my car, but I'll be working and helping BMW club run the autocross portion of the event.

I feel you. As it turns out, Boxerfest may have a bookface page but they also have an actual website where your personal information won't be sold to the highest bidder.

Hey All,

Boxerfest is around the corner and I want to set up a cruise for all subarus in the NOVA area to join. The plan is to meet at the Fairlakes Kohls where the Sunday morning cars and coffee is hosted at, but the event is Saturday so we will meet at Kohl's on Saturday

Boxerfest hours are 10:00AM to 5:00PM, so I will probably set the meetup time for around 8-8:30 depending if there will be other meets that we can stop by on the way to the event.

I know last year more people met up at the National Harbor mall (I went to this) and think it would be fun.

This is just preliminary event info and it may change over time as more meeting places pop up and more people gain interest. I am open to any suggestions that people may have.

Show cars are suppose to be there around 9:30. I will be in the show general admission is at 10am.

The Boxerfest Autocross is an opportunity for you to test and dial in your skills as you try for your best time around our Subaru-in-mind designed course! Autocross events are safe, medium speed driving events for you to test the limits of your Subaru and gain valuable driving experience! One driver at a time negotiates a course laid out with the cones, or pylons, testing their skill against the clock. Time penalties are charged for disturbing cones.

Reg and Tech 8 - 9
Mandatory Driver's Meeting at 9
Group A Session 1 9:30 - 10:40
Group B Session 1 10:50 - 12
Lunch 12 - 1
Mandatory Driver's Meeting at 1
Group A Session 2 1:30-2:40
Group B Session 2 2:50-4
Awards 4:15pm

*AutoX participants can come 1.5 hours before gate opens
*Cars will be run in run groups to allow competitors a chance to check out the rest of the event
