There are common problems with the car not seeing the key and having that issue.

these are for the C30-94 (first version) kit correct, if so can you PM me your information with the pictures?

Thanks in advance

We ended up putting everything on just enough to start the car until we saw fluid at the oil in side of the SC. After that everything went good! The instructions kind of suck in some spots though. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome.

I have the C30 blower tuned by @DeliciousTuning. No dyno numbers yet but that will come soon.

AND I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS AND SOUNDS. I smile whenever I drive it now haha.

Did you respray your core black and then re-stencil it?

According the the guys at Kraftwerks, all the new kits will have black intercoolers.. The kit that came in yesterday had a black one also.. The customer loves it black, as do a couple others.. I personally like the polished version better..

I going to paint mine with radiator paint for the sleeper effect too. And to help with heat soak, not that it is a problem from what I've heard.

So what tools are needed to tighten the belt using a method other than guessing?

That really annoying vibration NVH sound is directly related to my belt tension. I loosened my belt a little bit last night to see if it was too tight and the sound got worse. I was able to feel the vibration and alter it by pushing on the back of the pulley slider thing. Tightened it to about 20.5mm and the NVH went down but isn't completely gone.

It's like a lugging sound at 1k under throttle, basically the slip point from trying to start from 0mph. If you slowly let out the clutch and have it fully out it still makes the noise from 1mph.

So what do I need to tighten the belt using harmonics or whatever kraftwerks suggests?

Discuss about the optimal settings with Kraftwerks.

This is the kraftwerks supercharger thread right? I mean the information and answer to my question might help others.

"NOTE: You can also use a frequency measuring tool to gauge the correct amount of tension.

Set to 60.70 Hz."

According to the manual, has any one used a frequency measuring tool, and if so how did you acquire it?

Yes it is. Sounds like every kit's setting will be different if it is based on the frequency.

Still working on finding a legitimate tool since they are $600-$3000 but in the mean time...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...lculator&hl=en

This app is spitting out a frequency, at least I can ball park it.

The 20.5mm adjustment i thought was with the older small pulley setup... mine is so close running the smaller 85mm compressor pulley that i had to remove the lock nut, how much flex do you have in your belt?? when i install these i have about a 1/2" maybe of belt movement. if your running the new bigger pulleys and have 20mm of space in the adjustment bolt, you may be way to loose.. its a cogged belt it doesnt have to be as tight as a serpentine belt, but it needs to be a little snug..

-Thomas

my first setup my belt was on the lose side.. it was slapping the lower mount, once i figured it out and tightened it, i had no problems from there on out
