Anyway, I think this has to do with when I was emptying the catch can. I didn't realize how full it was and tipped it around a bit and at one point it was almost upside down when I was trying to get the bottom bolt off to drain it. I think some oil fell into the hose but I don't know if it would cause this problem. If it was this how should I go about fixing it? Any advice on what else it could be if not that? Thanks
I doubt it has anything to do with your catch can setup, but post up some pics of exactly how you have it installed. Any oil that may have gotten in that hose should have burned up after a few drives. It is more likely that the oil is getting past your turbo seals which either means they are blown or you have an issue with your oil drain line and it is backing up and letting oil past the turbo seals.

Sorry for the late reply, been pretty busy recently...
Anyway I thought about what you said and realized I had only really driven it once or twice since I saw the smoke, I drove it around a couple more times and I let it idle the other day for over 20 minutes and there wasn't even a hint of smoke, so I guess everything is good!

Thanks for the help!

Need some help guys/gals!

Still working with HRI on tuning my setup and we cannot seem to tune the top-end of the car because we keep getting fuel cut or something in the 6-7k rpm range. Pretty sure it is being cause by turbulance in the upper rpms causing an incorrect MAF reading. Only think I could think of would be the charge pipes past the IC are not happy. I've checked them and they all seem to be good. The only think I can think of is the long silicone coupler that passes behind the BRZ's passenger side headlight. Since there is a very slight distortion due to the sharp bend into the intake pipe's connection. Happens wether on 15 or 7psi. Boost gauge is reading rock solid up until the cut.

Any thoughts?

Fuel delivery? below is a quote from the Cssworth super charger installation instructions in reference to the fuel pump.

I'm not on stock fuel pump/injectors. All fuel related mods were installed prior to FI to ensure they worked beforehand. thanks though.

Hard to say without seeing the datalogs. Are you saying that you hit 6000 RPM and suddenly the MAF reading stops increasing and decreases suddenly? If you are having MAF issues, James should be able to switch you over to a hybrid MAF/Speed Density tune.

I had a similar issue that was related to the fuel pump not holding pressure in the higher RPM range. The solution was more O rings. What setup did you use when you installed the fuel pump?

I beleive I'm doubled up IIRC. I Know LJ just reccomended just going with the stock O ring but after reading some banter in the thread where FA20/tony had a video on taking them apart I decided to add an extra one.

James specifically told me it was MAF signal causing it. Never considered Speed Density as the problem was likely caused by me and seems fixed for the moment.

I was able to take apart the intake and clean a the maf which has seemed to fix this issue. I had quite a bit of oil in my charge pipes, I assume from when my turbo drain was kinked a while back. I guess I will have to keep periodically cleaning them and the MAF until I get all of the oil out of the pipes... for good. :/
