Toyota/Scion of Wilmington is telling me June/July before any will get to them. Works for me as that is when I'm planning on getting my FR-S. Anyone else out here on the coast?

still waiting patiently for a dealership in nc to get a frs or brz in.... i have heard 5/20 from a local dealership but we will see.

I'm wondering... has any NC pre-order been assigned a VIN# or ETA? I just called this evening and my order is still under "Wait-list" and no other details were available. My order was placed by the middle of March too so I'm curious if an earlier early pre-order has been granted the next step.

The #1 preorder at our dealership has had his VIN for a short while now.

Perhaps it was the rep wishing 8PM would hurry up on this day, but he was brief with information once I gave him the VON#. The other guy I spoke with a week ago was eager to help and the call didn't feel rushed. Oh well, hopefully things will move forward soon enough!

Oh, I did opt for quite a few port installed options so that may play a significant factor on delivery, but I'm betting on the wait will be worth it!

Talked to Toyota of Wilmington on Monday about that Asphalt FR-S and the date is still set as the 25th. I'll update this thread if I hear anything new.

If you're willing to put a $1000 non-refundable deposit down, contact Fred Anderson. Specifically, talk with Jeff Teague. I was in contact with him but ended up putting down a refundable deposit at another Toyota dealership.

Also... I went to Leith Toyota/Scion on Capital Blvd yesterday and I was told they will have a demo car arriving by the beginning of next week. It's strictly for test driving and not for purchase. I'll update you guys when I hear something!

Update #1: A sales rep from Apex Toyota called and they will be receiving an Auto Raven FR-S on Friday. I'm going in Friday morning to take a look at it! I'm excited to see one in person.

Update #2: Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh, NC has told me they will be receiving two automatic FR-S (one Firestorm and one Whiteout) by the first week of June. Jeff has told me the manager decided not to take deposits so the cars will be first come, first served.

So many autos... Where are the manuals going? :P

I should go camp out old school Star Wars movie tickets style. Rock the tent, grille, rep my bestwheelbase shirt, and blast Initial D soundtracks. I'd get my whiteout-manual order in for invoice just to get me off the damn lot.
