OFT E85 Tune w/ Modifed MAF tables
From what I've read, the E85 oft tune utilizes fuel trims (correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, making it unable to be used with a 3" intake that requires MAF scaling.
I couldn't find anything on a flex fuel system with OFT and I'm assuming if you go the flex fuel route, you would need ECUTek (I've read Shiv's post on flex fuel sensor's, just wondering if this is a feasible option.) My question is if there is a way to use the E85 tune with modified MAF tables, or if you can use OFT with a flex fuel sensor. |

What the oft guys do is scale the maf for the everage e% level they expect like around 75% , i would imagine ey used a ethanol tester to determine e%. this way your fuel trims are pretty low at e75 and the fuel trims wil correct for about e60 to e85 without being to great. I think they also jacked the ol maf values about 5% or so to make sure it always ran on the rich side so when the e% changes you dont run to lean top end. You could probably do the same thing with your perrin scaling. Im not sure how much the e% varies in your country. the only way to do proper flex fuel with sensor is ecutek plus ecutek flexfuel tune plus flex sensor kit |

The MAF scale should be the MAF scale no mater what fuel or tune you are using. If the MAF scale you are using for pump gas has low trims then it should be good for E85 as well. I think the OFT ots tunes adjust the the MAF on the higher side in case your MAF sensor voltage is a little off. Mine is, which I why I know. If the MAF scale that you have for your intake is good on pump gas it would be good on E85 as well. If it is not than you will need to make a custom scale like I did. If your MAF scale is good on pump but not on E85 you need to change the scale on the DI and PI so it so it is right.
