Haha ok, it's your money after all. But from the dynos that I've seen l don't think it's worth it. But hey if you squeeze that stone hard enough maybe you'll get a drop of blood.

I NEVER even stated it could or couldn't handle the flow/amplitude of no-cats. ""a stock muffler handling no cats" was never mentioned nor asked by me! If so, please do quote. I was PURELY referring to "JRSC with stock exhaust" and NOTHING else! sw20kosh changed the subject slightly and entangle being "catless + JRSC + stock exhaust" sounding like ass ...NOT ME. It's common sense it'll sound like ass with zero cats and a stock muffler lol. Yes.. I know sound is determined by shape, time/speed, frequency (it's actually my second job.. I've been involved in sound engineering and music for 15+ years). Loudness is just another word for amplitude. You'll be surprised how closely related sound, visual and physical matter really is (they all involve wavelengths). I'm not disregarding your input; I listen to it and take it as very valuable info. But, it sounds like you and some others, disregard mine. I simply corrected you a little in regard to short vs long wavelengths (which maybe a typo on your part); but you can't seem to admit to that. |

And again, I never asked about stock muffler sound with an uncatted setup (I only mentioned JRSC + stock mufflers (WITH cats) would be an awesome quite setup). But, thanks for the info about prone rattling with an uncatted setup. |

Now, lets take another example. I have no cats on my S2000. Zero rattling, only a mild rasp at WOT. |

I was talking about header gains after a JRSC kit though. Wouldn't that have much better gains vs NA? |

Yes, I do notice many stock exhausts "rattle" ..especially with age/wear. Cheap build quality makes perfect sense. It ain't even insulated after all. I always plan to have at least 1 cat anyways (I dislike hanging out in public smelling like petrol). |

Yes, I've asked several questions in this thread; but, only in regards to power, tunes, e85, upgrades, parts, headers, etc. I did not once ask a single question regarding sound. I think that's sw20kosh's problem

I read your posts and it makes me want to shoot myself in the face because all your questions and comments help no one, including apparently, yourself. And since you will no doubt get all defensive and claim your posts will help out people who view this thread in the future for info.... No, it won't because people will either waste time like I did actually reading them or they will just skip over them entirely, like I should have done. So, if my car is already extremely loud, a supercharged setup like the JRSC would make things louder?
I'm definitely in need of more power, but probably won't upgrade to something like this for another year or so. |

Only at WOT. For normal cruising volume is essentially unaffected.
