As soon as there were 2 cars on the road at the same time street racing started. Hell for that matter as soon as there were two domesticated horses street racing became a thing!
It has always existed and always will I am afraid.
I don't think it's new. FnF is just an example.

That I simply do not believe.
Until I see a link to a reliable source I'll assume you just made that up.
There are many accidents at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

And I watched the ones from the sixties, was one from the 70s, and have seen the ones from the 80s on up. This is why I am so sure it won't change.

I'm not going to waste my whole day finding a link to make a silly point up.
You can go ahead and Google the local roads around the Nurburgrin and decide for your self.

There are still a lot of parts of the old Sudschleife that are now local roads. An old race track in part open to the public can allow for plenty of fun.

There was youtube video from a popular channel that was stating the outside roads can be more dangerous than the Nurburgring

I don't have to. I've been there twice. I've driven the 'ring and stayed in hotels nearby. And I call

Anyone planning to drive the Nürburgring should read this before leaving:
http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/warning.php
This guy says "I couldn't even begin to count the number of accidents I've seen there. You'll spot a damage-only crash every few laps, and closures due to more serious accidents happen several times a day."

If the idea of fun is turning off the stereo and really enjoying the drive, not testing limits of your ability or the car, I'm for it.

That's for the track.
