Installed:
- Mishimoto performance radiator
- Mishimoto radiator hoses
- Mishimoto induction hose
(deleted sound generator)
- Mishimoto oil catch can
- HKS drop-in filter

All Mishimoto parts fit without issue...

Reinstalled:
- powder coated parts
(anodized red and chrome/polished)

Turned out pretty good.

Mishimoto oil cooler is on tap for tomorrow as well as refilling the coolant.

The girl I asked out a few days ago was quite beautiful as well. I guess a better date came along but she didn't give much of a reason why she canceled so I'll leave it be. Sadly I didn't get to take her with me on the drive, it would've been fun!
It's alright buddy, disregard female, acquire currency

Went in contract on a house today that has a 3 car garage so my FR-S doesn't have to sleep outside (and the wife wanted a bigger house, haha). This mod was a little on the expensive side. The 3rd bay is walled off separately from the other two, so that is where I'll keep my FR-S and my 4 bicycles. A 2 post lift might find its way in there in a year or two as well. Plus, it is the furthest possible place from the baby's room, so hopefully the wifey will get off my balls about the TRD exhaust waking the little one.

I agree with you, I have the TRD exhaust too. Have had the car for about a week now and have already been approached by two neighbors about it. They weren't upset, they just wanted to talk about the car and tell me that they now know when I am home or not.

Anyways.. today I pushed that little button in the trunk that lets me actually open my trunk electronically. It probably got pressed when I was taking out the 4 bags of groceries that our car allows us to fit in her
Was biting my nails all day because I couldn't electronically open my trunk. I figured it might have been because of the cold cold Ohio weather. Did some digging around and found about that pesky little button.

Since our MINI is in Columbus getting the steering rack replaced under warranty, my FR-S is in the garage this week. A chip in the house's HVAC went bad, so the HVAC repairman asked me to make some room by the furnace when he was looking at the compressor unit out back. He came back around to the garage and commented on how mean the car sounds. Wonder how much my new neighbors will like it. Haha

That button is killer. One day in HS, I opened my car to let my brothers and g/f in the car. I popped the trunk from inside and tossed my backpack in the trunk. In those days, the Impreza had a switch that would disable the interior trunk release. The backpack caught the lever and flipped it to disable the release. I slammed my trunk not realizing my keys were in the backpack. So, I spent the next hour finding a socket set so I could remove the back seat and retrieve the backpack and keys.

Oh my... That sounds like a task. After realizing that I couldn't open my trunk, I had to make sure I had my keys in my pocket before I closed it.
You're from Columbus, OH? I just recently got my FRS, and want to meet the people around here. Spring time can't come soon enough!

Edit: on Tapatalk, saw you're from WV. Hahah

Columbus is the closest MINI dealer. When I called MINI USA saying the steering rack caught fire, they quickly jumped to get the car to their dealer for investigation.

I gave my mini frs a lip spoiler sort of like mine! Modeled it in CAD pretty lazily.
