Jump in with a story and get it back on track! Not our fault people stopped telling stories and the thread would have just died so we are keeping it on life support until the next relevant post!

Ok -I'm a pharmacist and work part of the time in a 5 story doctor's building. Our days go like this:

Patient walks in door: Can you tell me where suite 350 is? Me: take the elevator to the 3rd floor.

Patient #2 - Can you tell me where Suite 130 is? (Pharmacy is Suite 140).
Me: It's right across the hall (wishing that I could say That's why they have the sign that says 130 in big numbers).

Patient #3 - Can you help me find my doctor's office?
Me: Sure, what's the name?
P3: I don't know.
Me: Do you know the practice name?
P3: No
Me: Well, I can't really help you. We have a lot of doctors here and in the other 2 adjacent buildings.

How do people like this operate in life?

I'm purely in customer service, I don't do any customer relations so I don't really have much to add.

I used to work in Graphics Design. I still do it in my free time...which is barely now-a-days.
