You want to see "the customer is not always right" check out Special Operations Equipment. They make awesome gear but the way they deal with bad customers can be pretty entertaining. [ame]http://youtu.be/W2v1lg0ERb4[/ame]
There's also a couple videos where they set a guys order on fire after cancelling the order for being a bad customer.

Also I used to work at an auto repair shop and a guy came in once and needed some work done to his car (I think it was a newer Mercedes or BMW) and was trying to get a discount for being a pastor of some church. No discount was given and the guy whined and actually went outside complaining to people about it practically crying. We ended up refusing to fix his car. And later we looked up the church he said he was pastor at and found out it was basically a sex cult.

Used to work retail for Rogers. Haha the stories we had in store were too priceless sometimes.
Apparently my manager's favourite story is one where I was helping an older couple that came storming into the store raging about how Rogers sucks this and their PVR is crap, blah blah blah. I apparently (I don't really remember, this is how I was told it went) took them over to my TV area where we have a PVR to demo and proceeded to calmly tell the old man he was completely incorrect, inept at using our equipment, and then showed him exactly what he did wrong and how to fix it. Then I turned around and sold both him and his wife on a new phone each. Manager couldn't believe that I essentially called them idiots and still turned a sale out of it; he had to leave the store he was laughing so much.

My favourite story is when I was helping out a store in a sketchier part of town for a few months:

Lady comes into the store and is helped by one of my colleagues. She's complaining about something to do with her cell phone, says it's not working, says she needs more minutes, opening the phone and pointing at the screen. Naturally we think "Oh she's a Pay as you Go customer" and ask her if she wants to buy some more minutes. She agrees, pays, we give her the receipt and she's still confused now upset she bought something she didn't want. At this point we notice she's pointing at the battery icon on her phone when she says she needs more minutes. My colleague asks her how she normally gets her minutes... To our utter disbelief this customer explains she plugs her phone into the wall.... to get minutes... to talk on the phone...

I had to run to the backroom to not burst out laughing on the floor... Wasn't an older customer either, she was maybe late 40s.
