OP, you realize that EVERYONE smells worse in high school, right? Hormones are a bitch.
Secondly, on a serious note, there has been a couple studies released recently that suggest that Americans in particular shower way too often. On average, they say the average person should shower once every other day, except for days with heavy exertion. On "off" days, a scrubbing with a washcloth to the face, neck, armpits, genital area and ass crack will suffice just fine. History time--back in the post-Civil-war era, an ad campaign (possibly one of the most successful ever) was started by soap companies to get people to purchase more of their product. How did they do it? Duh, they gave "testimonials" that women appreciated men who had good hygine, took care of themselves and showered daily. This managed to gain hold and daily bathing became a regular practice as a result. For the majority of people, your skin may benefit more by going more days without showers. Some people actually do need to (people who sweat alot, oily skin, are working out daily or exert themselves heavily), so in reality, its up to you. I still shower daily, and probably will for a while. Its part of my morning routine and I don't really go out the door fully awake unless I do. As far as diet being the reason....Yeah, sorry. Farts may smell more, but BO and other body odors are generally not affected too strongly by diet.
