Mike's WRB Function&Form BRZ

Hey what's up everybody?! My name is Mike. I've been a member here on FT86club for awhile now. I recently just switched to the Subaru side and traded in my 2014 Scion FRS in Whiteout MT Base for a 2015 Subaru BRZ MT Limited in WRB. The reason why I did it because I wanted a new build that was about function and form. But I wanted to get the same car because I think the FRS/BRZ/GT86 is a great "Blank Canvas" to build anything you want. My FRS was all about form which I liked, but now I'm looking for a function and form build. Sure I could have just made the FRS have a function setup, but I wanted to start out fresh, I wanted that "Blank Canvas." So I parted out the FRS and traded her in bone stock with 8,000 miles. The 2015 BRZ Limited had 64 miles on the odometer when I got it and was equipped with options such as Auto Dimming/Compass Rear View Mirror, Chrome Fender Trim, Blue interior bottom lighting, STi Front Lip, STi Wheels, and Wheel Locks. The dealer also gave me a due bill on the STi Side Skirts and the STi Rear Spats which I'm waiting on due to the parts being on back order. So far the only things I've done are Tinted Windows, LED License plate bulbs, and 25mm Hub Centric Spacers on the rear from European Motorwerks. I also have a OEM style rear diffuser and some Valenti Red Edition Tail Lights, and Side Markers I haven't installed yet. Some future plans for the BRZ are Accuair eLevel, BBK, boost, and aftermarket wheels with better performance tires. It's going to be a slow build due to financial situations but I figured I'd document my build here and share with the FT86club community

Excited to this build! Curious why you didn't just go with a series.blue if you were planning on doing STi front lip, skirts, rear splats, etc.

Actually, I was looking for a Series Blue, but they didn't have anymore in California. Turns out I like the Limited better than the Series Blue. I think the only thing I like about the Series Blue is the fact they only made 1,000 of them. The all black seats in the Limited seem to have that more mature and expensive look to it. Where as the Blue Series seats remind me of the FRS two tone seats which is fine, but a little too much color for me, I like the simple Black interior look. Also I like the Auto Dimming/Compass Mirror opposed to the JDM Frameless Rear View Mirror mostly because I never owned a Auto Dimming/Compass Rear View Mirror which I find nice and convenient to have.
I just added you on IG btw

Yeah, the BRZ definitely has better quality and looks than the FRS. I never thought that way until I actually owned a BRZ haha!

UPDATE:
I installed my Valenti Red Edition Tail Lights, Rear Diffuser, and Side Markers today! I called the Subaru dealership... they said my rear STi spats came in, but still waiting on the STi side skirts.

So decided to go purely function over form for this build. Ordered a set of KW V3's. I read some really good reviews on this suspension so hopefully I made the right choice. I'll update later when the coilovers come in!
