OFT wasn't in there? Good thing. Sorry to hear about that though. The last time I was broken into the thief slashed my soft top on my S2000 to take my radar detector. I was ready to go on an Archer style rampage, but insurance gave me $2k to replace the top, which I pocketed. Buddy patched the top up really nice too.

They broke into the Pass. Rear Window -- Work (Safelite) replaced the glass. Mike's Custom Car Shade just came out and replaced the tint. Total cost to get vehicle fixed: $0 out of pocket, $189 billed to insurance comprehensive coverage.

The OFT is actually why my trunk happened to be in Valet mode. It's in the trunk, under the floor mat, sitting in the area the "Toyota Jack" comes in. Actually a really snug fit, and so I tossed it there, valet locked the trunk, folded the seat up, and left it. It will be taken out of the vehicle tonight and my wife is taking it to work tomorrow. so it won't be here.

They had taken out the cup holder and sifted through the center console, but I don't really keep anything in there except like $0.76 in loose change. I think they stole a USB phone charger cable (Had two in the car but can't find one).

Just a shitty feeling. I feel violated and sick. "We're not given more than we can handle", right?

As an FYI, valet mode isn't good for truck security. You can pop down the back seats in a few seconds from the inside

Yeah. But luckily petty thieves don't usually know how. If an enthusiast is breaking into a car to strip it then it's going to happen. But for someon just looking for something quick it's okay. Usually the smart ones just take the whole damn cat vs getting into the trunk. Nothing like being in the back of a car you broke into when the owner comes out. lol

I didn't want to use it as "trunk security". It was more of a precaution for while I was at work. Thankfully it worked out

I am sorry to hear that man. Why do we even have security guards if all they do is sit at the desk and text on their phones? That is what he was doing yesterday when I left. From now on I am going to take your lead and lock everythng in the trunk with the valet mode on. Do you know around what time this happened? I left around 1115 and your car was fine then. Did you talk to anyone here about it? I talked to Jameson and he had no clue. Maybe they can get the security guards to make random patrols in the parking lot.

We just changed over to new guards. Yesterday was their first day and I was friends with the old guards. They used to walk by my car every hour during their rounds and certainly were never texting.

I went out there for my last break (about 330pm) and that's when I saw it. but I took a nap in her on my lunch at 1 and she was fine. So some around that time. I have the wife's car today just as an added prcaution, though they are not likely to come back.

The shitty thing is my alarm was going off at the time I found it, so I don't even think the security guard actually did their rounds. Either that or I just missed the person who did it.

Lets hope that management has a word with security and ensures that they make their rounds.

Here's to hoping. But they did pay for discount guards telling me they don't really care.

@nelsmar http://datazap.me/u/celadrielas/oft-v-163?log=0&data=1

This is running the OFT OTS v 1.63 tune. I am no longer knocking, but my wideband AFR shows me running rich. I am going to take out the AEM sensor today and see if that will help. I might even reflash to the custom tune and test that, but I feel like I should test 1 thing at a time.

If I am missing anything, let me know and I will create a new log today with it in it.
