Alright, let's try this again.

So if FLKC and knock correction are what really matter, it looks like i'm good to go?

However it depends what you want to do, there is plenty of information on this forum to customize the tune yourself. But if you don't want to invest the time, Shiv is the way to go.

I assume the BPB tunes have a tune that account for catless headers (not sure dont have BPB)?

Yeah using the BPB uel beta tune but yeah maybe it worth getting a dyno tune since @Shiv@Openflash is 15 mins away from me. I'm planning on running 86cup this year and it maybe pretty hard on the car and having a custom tune would get rid of potential headaches.

Yup everything looks pretty good!

AFR looks good. No knock (FLKC & Knock Correction are zero). The only thing that looks a little bit off are your fuel trims, from what I've read as a rule of thumb is that LTFT & STFT should be in the range of zero (+/-) ten percent.

High LTFT indicates that your adding fuel to account for a lean AFR (to the best of my knowledge).

I would post some logs and see how they look, if you're willing to learn members can help you out

But if you plan on tracking a lot, as you've mentioned shiv is a great option.

Could that be due to the winter mix of E85 I'm using which is probably closer to E70?

That would be my best guess! Im still learning more about fuel trims, im running about E75 and I've seen LTFT hit 7% at times.

Check out some of shiv's posts in that thread. I think the big concern is that your LTFT is stable under load (WOT), which yours seems to be.

No, have several hundred miles on E85. Shouldn't be any petrol left. Although a winter blend of E85 would have more straight petrol in it than usual...

Car is stock except for apexi drop-in. Changing to JDL UEL headers soon, and will flash the 2.063 stg 2 E85 UEL tune.

if you running the stage2 el e85 map on a stock header its going to run a bit rich, once you change header to catless will run a bit leaner.

it will also run richer\leaner depending on e85 blend ethanol percent.

in australia we have a guaranteed 85% E85 at pump so i was able to rescale maf for that fuel.

Needs some help here.
If you look at the attached file, is it possible to have neg fine correction (this is retard from knock right), and still have a 1 IAM?

@ steve99

Upload the full log to Datazap.me it's the easiest way to analyze your data logs.

When did you flash to your new tune? If the ecu is still learning its possible for the IAM to stay at 1 even if you're getting knock correction. Give it a few days and if you're still getting knock you'll see your IAM begin to drop.

That log looks pretty good especially if your on 95 octane south africa fuel.

I am not 100% sure of some of those Ecutek log parameters.

Your IAM is one which is good, the ecu will not immediately decrement the IAM value on every instance of knock. There needs to be a certain severity and frequency of knock events to cause the iam to drop. ie you can have some minor knock events occasionally and still have iam=1.

it looks like you are free of FBKC(knock correction) but you have a bit of FLKC (fine learning knock correction) of about -1 degree between 2200 and 2900 rpm if I am reading those paramerters correctly. judging by the kc learned values and the fine correction. Not sure what the coarse correction parameter is it looks like its the "Knock correction Advance max A " value from tables and not the amount of knock correction.

looks like all thats needed is maybe 0.7 degrees removed from Base Timing B table from 2000-3000 rpm engine loads 0.9 to 1.1 these motors tend to be knocky in that range especially on 95ron fuel.
