I just wanted to point out its.... 8 days. You've waited how long for it now? I don't think 8 days will kill you to get what you really wanted initially. Just sayin. You don't want to be wishing you had this and that over 8 days now would you? lol

Get the BRZ...

There are going to be less of them. Subaru name has better rep than Scion. Resale will better on the BRZ. Better interior, IMO better exterior styling.

Just my opinion, but in 10 years you'd be kicking yourself if you went with the Scion just to get it 8 days earlier.

I am assuming that there are going to be some much nicer versions coming out, and that the Subie ones will be the best of the bunch, so if you want to trade up, the BRZ is better choice.

Also, I am happy that I am getting a first generation BRZ, cause I feel like its going to be a cult classic for Subaru.

I'm in the same boat, have a preorder on both cars. I'm going to just test drive both cars and decide at that time.

Leaning BRZ but hey man, 3300 is a lot of money. The thing I'll miss most is HID

BRZ Limited.

The options in the limited make it a much nicer interior which is where you will be spending most of your time when the brz comes in. I also have a deposit on the fr-s and the brz. I like the dash and grill on the fr-s much better but everything else goes to the brz between the hid, led, fog lights, heated options, much better quality seats. Even the premium model has much better seats. Spoiler... Just go with the BRZ. Do it

So when the FRS arrives first at the dealership I'm definitely going to check it out but I'm pretty much leaning towards the BRZ. But the BRZ has added options like auto dim mirror and home link, wheel locks etc. which bumped the price up a bit. The FRS on the other hand I was assured i"ll be paying MSRP with no add ons.

It's a difficult decision as of right now..leaning towards the BRZ just because of it's standard features(HIDs, heated seats, nav. etc.)

Thanks

That's what I was planning to do check out both cars, test drive and compare. Hopefully though if the FRS does arrive early they can still hold it for me till the BRZ arrives so I can compare. But the Scion salesperson told me if I decide to withdraw my deposit on the FRS they won't even try to convince me to stick with it since they know a lot of people out there will grab it

If you like the FR-S when it comes in and you test drive it just wait for your BRZ. If you don't like the way the FR-S performs, then you won't like the BRZ.
