For example, @636 car. I've said I love his car, but for me he's running a bit too much camber. That's a lot different than just saying "your car is dumb because camber". But, his car stands out quite a bit and I really, really like that about it.

Like it or not, "stance" is here to stay. And I have that in quotations because there could be infinite examples of stance. Stance, to me, is simply how a car sits. "Hellaflush" cars have stance, jacked up trucks have stance. The only thing I will hate on in the car community is someone doing something to their car which is definitely going to end up being unsafe for other motorists. Excessive tire stretch, cut springs, running bald tires, that kind of shit.

Personally, I like a wide range of car types. Lowriders, muscle cars, track beasts, trucks (all kinds for all applications). And I think that closing yourself off to one narrow view of cars is going to make you miss out on a lot of cool stuff that you may never have seen before.

And let's be honest here, negative camber WILL help with handling (not in extreme cases, such as oni) and a 0* camber angle will only really help in a straight line, which, time and time again on this site its been stated. "This car is not meant for a straight line"
THANK YOU.

A certain percentage of people will always be ignorant, pass off their opinion as fact, and make some gross generalization about the driver and anyone like them. But those people's true colors always show through almost immediately and they are easy to ignore or flame further.

I was commenting on the fact that people were starting to neg the OP because he created a thread for us to discuss the things that people are doing to the cars that we love that make us want to punch babies. Public-shaming of someone for expressing their opinion in a coherent manner is just as ignorant as the guy saying "stance is stupid, I rule".
Public shaming? I just told the guy that I expect more from him. I have been friends with him on Facebook for a while and he runs one of the FR-S pages on Facebook as well. I would think that he wouldn't be so narrow minded and cut others down like this.

I stated my opinion that I thought what is going on here is wrong, and I am the bad guy? Come on dude.

I was the guy that made a comparison between stance and lowriders. You said that people could take that as an insult, so I was asking you why THAT bothers you but not the fact that people could be insulted by seeing their car and people talking trash about it in this thread?

Do they come in different colored plastic, or are they painted?

It doesn't bother me at all really. My Z was "low as fuck" and got people giving me shit about it being dumb and blah blah blah. While I never went nutzo with the camber I can admit that its stupid as fuck to be that low since you will scrape everywhere and not everyone is cool enough for you to angle properly. i guess that's why I feel so strongly about it maybe.

Also I DO have a problem with the type of "events" they compete in. I wasted 3 min watching a "competition" video of these dudes going up and down a freaking driveway... T

In fairness for some of those cars going up and down a driveway was a stunning achievement!

I do agree that this thread is not strictly necessary.
But it seems to represent a very marginalized subculture on a forum where the "agressive wheels" thread is on page 134.
Subcultures equals diversity. I support diversity because it propels progress.

This is what it seems this forum is built on. A lot of bashing and telling people to "use the search bar" which is bullshit. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all is the way I look at it. You don't see those stanced guys hating on anyone.

That wasn't very nice, so I guess your rule only applies to other people?
