The tune is everything honestly. There's plenty of people who push these kits hard and have no issues on a good tune. That's why gauges are important as well imo.

Any video updates coming soon @The Sentinel? I'm waiting to see how your build turns out before I pull the trigger. I have researched with videos and the forums on turbo options, etc. and while the torque looks insane, I feel the most reliable option is to go the Supercharger route. Kraftwerks looks top notch as far as reliability and ease of install goes.

Thought about it, but he admitted he doesn't like the kit. So I decided to stick with drift office in auburn Washington.

Dyno tune vs etune in my case. James is a good guy, doesn't seem like the type to screw you over. He's extremely helpful the frs/brz enthusiasts facebook group. He just has his preference on SC kits. To me he voiced his dislike of the hybrid tune setup on the KW kits. But I believe Kraftwerks mentioned somewhere in here that the new tunes were all SD now.

Just finished installing my kit about a week ago! Tune is from Moto East and I couldn't be any happier with the change of the car.

I know he has done tuning on the kits, ive talked to him about the kits and all. I know he is a good tuner, But he doesn't really like the kits, as was mentioned, and especially the C38.

The car is being tuned over the enxt few days. I am going to be shooting a video of the last few power runs on the dyno, as well as a first drive video, review, etc.

I asked about James because he is local and I haven't heard anything bad. We've spoke briefly via text. But after data logging my kraftwerks tune that comes with the kit I've decided that I NEED a tune. If not I'll be added to the blown motor list lol

My c38 kit will arrive on friday.
To bad I have to rebuild the whole motor before i install it...
Spun a rod bearing while NA...

I am considering a flexfuel kit. Already have a denso fuel pump on order.
How big injectors will i need? 550cc? 650cc?
Is there any disadvantage to buy some that are big enough to support a high boost upgrade later?

700cc should give you enough room. Wow 38 and high boost pulley you should go all out on your engine rebuilding then.

550 is probably enough, unless you want extra head room for whatever reason. 15psi on e85 is only 70% at peak for me.

What caused you to run low on oil?
