I think if you talk to @Cross he can get you pretty close to that price. I think they just did a group buy not too long ago and I would be interested in doing a group buy with you. Maybe we can organize one or something...

He and I have been chatting and he had a smokin deal ($435) but we needed at least one more buyer. It's just not meant to be for now. If I am having this many quirks, the time is just not right and I need to be patient. When it's meant to be it will be.

For now, I need to see what Vishnu is doing with my order. They've not responded to my email explaining to them I don't have an ECUtek or any other tune and that I can't read, so I am going to make sure that money doesn't leave the account and call it done from there.

I appreciate the willingnes to help. I just a phone call from Dan at OFT. He offered to let me do payments @ $499. I'm not comfy with that and it's more than I want to spend so I politely declined. He said he'd email me with the absolute lowest he could go but would aim for that $419 marker I authorized.

For customer serivce, they are definately there for me. But I've already pushed pretty hard on this, so I am willing to sit back and be patient. If it happens, great. If not, it's as good of time as any to sit back and save.

UPDATE:: phone call from open flash. The gave me a vendor discount and then waived shipping. Total price: $419.00 shipped to my door. I did explain to then I really appreciate it but am just as well waiting for a group buy through our local community because I know and trust the product. I also explained I didn't want to take advantage of anyone either.

"We would rather have you in our product for the price you're willing to pay and capable of affording, than to see you settle down the line."

I know I am going to love this product, and I can't speak highly enough for thier customer service. I just can't help but feel like I overstepped my bounds. Buyers remorse but only because of how it all went down.

That's pretty darn cool... I really enjoyed the difference it made in how the car felt.
