Amen to that brotha.

One of our technicians at work has a civic that's so low it would high-center in gravel and it's hideous IMO. Sure, it's his car and he can do what he wants with it, but it does make my stomach turn upside when I see it done to a twin. I love this car and plan on keeping it a long time, but I would hate for them to be seen as the next civic. They're absolutely gorgeous when modded cleanly.

In my teenage years I remember all everyone wanted to do was go fast, myself included. It didn't matter where and it didn't matter when I just wanted to drive really f**king fast. Hell I'd race a minivan. Now all they want to do is ride around in these stanced cars that can barely even function.

What happened?

Honestly, I'd rather have someone be critical of my mod decision than be fake about it and pretend if it's a good idea. We need to stop with this "we're all winners" movement that's going on where we pretend that Precious is as hot as Beyonce.

You mean this one?
(actually your build really doesn't hang with the crowd shown here)

You don't like what buddy does to his car? That's fine. Either don't say anything, or ask why he's doing that.

Personally, I like the way it looks when a car is laid out with a bunch of camber. Would I do it to my own car? Probably not.

Edit: on second thought, maybe I will do that to my car this summer simply to invoke the rage of some people on here who can't appreciate someone else doing what they want to their own car with their own time and their money for their own enjoyment.
I hear what you're saying, but that is not how the free speech internet world works. If you put an idea out there (i.e stanced cars) ....expect a completely un-biased opinion. The bias is in not knowing you DIRECTLY, therefore ... you're going to get honest personal opinions. At the end of the day ... it's your car and you can do what ever you want.

At best, the wing would act as a good set of elevators, but you are going to need some large canards on the front, and a decent swept wing on the roof line.

Also, the exhaust ports couldn't possibly produce enough thrust to maintain flight, you'll need some fart cans added for that.

A pair of JATOs might help to cover the torque dip during takeoff spin-up.

Either that, or they are using Star Wars universe laws of aerodynamics!

I am still laughing at the pic though!

But thinking back, growing up in Queens everyone was rocking baggy jeans and oversized clothes. Now the male youth seem to enjoy wearing skin tight, testicle crushing jeans and tight shirts.

Times change, along with different styles. It just means you're getting old! Haha

I wish there were pics of the owners of some of these as well. Flatbills are probably involved.
