I was just saying that there is no benefit for a twin turbo. Though, one turbo is a more benefit gain. The way I think of it is that, the flow will difract. I might be wrong.
No, subaru never acknowledged it was a TT, but it was.

second topic.

There's both pros and cons to either side. Id much rather have a single, but a twin with twins can produce numbers that shouldn't be laughed at.

Of course, twin has its benefits and drawbacks. Turbo in general, haha!

Huh? Subaru hasn't used a TT setup for many years. It was called a EJ20H, not EJ20T. It was a very complex sequential setup. It had a black box full of vacuum hoses and actuators most people never understood.

Yeah I was really confused on the name. Care to PM the workings of that black box-o-confusion? Sounds like a hose nightmare.

Which is why VGT, but...no one is willing to spend $5,000 for just the turbo.

Before this thread becomes an argument, how many on here have ridden my car? It's not a whos the best match more of a how did you choose to do it and did it work. The system was actually designed by the owner and fabricator who is actually also propulsion engineer, not a hey look im gonna make something look cool but not perform well type shop, done one with a small single and I even had a single 30r as well. There are many variables for turbo lag and efficiency from compression, to runner pipe diameter, to tuning, to physical turbo hot side, to turbo internals, firing order arrangement etc. Yes the system has quite the cool wow factor but most importantly its completely functional and works very well.
Now were twin turbos necessary no, but did they actually work well yes. At lot of things are not necessary and there's not always a solid best everything. I still have more things to mess with on the setup but the car responds well and drives fine. Turbo's spool quick and smooth with out getting peaky. Being able to do something a little different while having it work so well is a win win.
As for that old subaru twin turbo jdm motor discussed, its a way different system which was not the best
