Ya, I stumbled across it and immediately though of all the crashed cars I have seen on here where people walked away without a scratch.

This is one of my main reasons for driving a relatively new car for my daily commute. You can't put a price tag on your life. IMO, driving an old beat up car just for the sake of saving money isn't worth it unless you really can't afford a modern car.

They Don't Make 'Em Like They Used To

That is one scary clip to watch.

But it made me think of this.
My mom's old 1999 black and white Nokia started up in less than 30second, would survive a third floor drop, pop the battery back in works like a charm again. My 2015 iPhone probably take around a minute or less to boot up, crack from 3feet drop, 249$ replacement to MAYBE work like a charm.

Looks like the passenger compartment IS the crumple zone. Comes complete with 2 front body bags. That, or a shop vac.

Not apples to apples there Duck! I could say the old rotor dial landline took zero seconds to load and would survive a nuclear holocaust if we want to keep going back in tech.

I have mixed emotions. It's great to see the comparison (and the results are about as I would expect).

On the other hand, that looked like a pretty damn nice 1959 Bel Air they destroyed. To think it survived for 50 years to go down that way......

I have that same feeling everytime they blow up a nice car in a movie and you just know it wasn't a model or CGI

Exactly!
And the 59 was about a negative 4 stars.
