Na nos is cheating....I need the power at all times. A T70 should do the job. Only downside is ill need a clutch then.

Now, Having spent years driving FWD and AWD, I can tell you I am loving my RWD. But let's pretend the OP has a family or a wife who wants a family. Let's pretend their needs are, in fact, different to ours... Maybe the change makes sense.

And before people flame me for my MT vs AT comment, realize that most auto trans these days shift more effecient than most manual drivers for fuel economy and in some cases even power band output. Also realize, I drive a MT vehicle and wouldn't trade that either.

Going just by the numbers I'd really have to agree with this ^. For me it comes down to which car I like driving most.

WRX STI 0-60 = 4.8 sec
WRX 0-60 = 5 sec
Focus ST 0-60 = 5.7 sec
Veloster Turbo 0-60 = 6.8 sec
Veloster 0-60 = 7.3 sec
Focus 0-60 = 7.5 sec

I've been toying with that idea a lot lately, but I like my FR-S too much and with how little trade value I'd get it would be better just to keep it as a track / weekend car and get the WRX as a daily.

0-60 times tell almost NOTHING about how the car behaves and drives as a whole

the new WRX feels like a truck. yawn.
