It has been mentioned a couple of times by different people (Shiv one of them) that implementing soft rev limit can mess up the shifting on an A/T. This makes no sense to me and I've been in denial. Just for satisfaction, fully expecting to see no difference, I flashed one of Shiv's roms without altering it.
They're right. The shifts are noticeably better. I don't get it, I can't figure it out, but it's true. No more soft rev auto for me.

it possible the auto tans control unit has the stock rpm limit programeed into it so it gets a bit confused when engine ecu rpm limit is changed.

you could try implementing the soft rpm limit timing reduction but keeping the stock rpm limit .

Updated the template via OFM, I think the most recent update was from October on the open flash website. Did it via the Upgrade tab, and once the template was done loading OFM said Update Complete or something like that. Anyways it didnt' work :/

Any suggestions @steve99

^ How it looked before I updated the template (save and record button not functional)

^ After updating the template

^ Next screen after that above error (save and record still not functional)

The new Template File was posted up on the website an hour ago. When you upload it, you will see some new graphics/icons as well as a new selection (Configure Tuning Alerts) in the Diagnostic Selections. I'll be making a video later this week showing how to use this new feature (it's a very powerful feature!).

If you don't upload the new Template File, you will still be able to do everything that you were able to do before. You will just get a message saying to "Please update Template File". You will still be able to flash the ECU, view data, datalog, etc,. You just won't get access to the new Tuning Alert function (to be explained soon!).

Cheers,
shiv

In my testing, both logging and saving to csv file should work just fine with the older Template File 4. The only thing that was missing is the icon button for Resetting the tuning alerts. Everything else is there and functional.

Any suggestions for getting my data logging to work?

I can't save/record any of my data to my OFT the record/save button aren't functioning. The only thing I could think of that may be it, is maybe I should calibrate with a stylus but...I mean I can hit every other button ok.

Definitely try calibrating the screen with a stylus

Have had my OFT for almost a year now. The US6MT stage2 UEL tune has worked well. Finally decided to update to the newer v2.063 stage2 UEL 93 octane tune.

Here's my problem...last year I loaded my first stg2 tune from the OFT as it was out of the box. Those tunes were "B01C" tunes. Now that I've updated the tablet with the latest OFManager (1.15.1) the CAL says ZA1JB00C so I uploaded the Stage 2 UEL B00C tune. After plugging into the car it gives me an error when trying to write to the ECU and says try again. When I cancel out of that and do an "info" the tablet says my ECU is a B01C.

Seems it wants a B01C tune, but the tablet won't let me upload a B01C tune, only the B00C tune. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!
