Almoooooost dropping the hammer on a new BRZ!

So guys - I'm finally gonna drop the hammer this year on the 2015 BRZ. Love the fact that Subaru dropped the ugly (imho) silver trim piece and made it black.

Right off the bat, can anyone tell me if my list of things to do is missing anything:

1- Pick up car
2- Colour correction + Opticoat (I hear paint issues are common)
3- Clear bra up front (this car will see tons of fun miles)
4- Radium PCV Catch Can
5- Raceseng Cam plate cover (is this still an issue on current cars???)

Once my first maintenance is due, I am changing the tranny fluid to Motul.

Missing anything?

You only really need the catch can and cam plate cover if you're planning on running forced induction.

1. Yay!

2. All new cars have issues as they aren't hand finished anymore.

3. Opticoat before and after the bra. Opticoating the bra will mean less cleaning and the entire car will sheet water.

4. Meh, catch cans are overrated IMHO as by the time any of that crap builds up bad enough in the intake, you're doing major engine work. They're OK on old, worn turbo cars with lots of blowby though.

5. Only needed if it leaks. I have it on my list as well if it ever leaks.

Do the factory windows have zero tint? I'll prolly do that along with the Opticoat + Clear Bra (done at the same shop).

First cab off the rank for me was floor and boot mats (not standard on Australian cars).

Then work out what your break in method you will use

You sure have been here a while without owning a BRZ. Make sure you clear bra the whole fender. I keep getting a fucking rock chip in the inner lip. Do the whole hood too. And headlights.

It's like this special green glass. The sides are darker than the windshield from factory... but they're like yellowish.Tint gives it that smoky color.

I know - somewhere along 2010 and now, my life's changed quite a bit... bought a place (can you say MORTGAGE?) and moved out.

I'm going to clear bra the whole hood, fender and bumper. This car will be part of my road trip across North America so it will see road rash.
