Personally, I've never been all that big of a fan of red cars. I'm usually a fan of blue, white, and gunmetal. Unfortunately, the FR-S doesn't have its own color for WRB and when I bought my car the best deal I found was on a '13 Firestorm. I was hesitant going to the dealer, but when I saw it in person I fell in love.

This car looks awesome in red. It really accentuates the lines of the car, and you will definitely see less at meets. The shot below is from a recent meet we had, and I was only one of two Firestorm cars there. Usually I'm the only Firestorm at the meets. Out of our group in the Chicagoland area, and it's a fairly large one, I can only think of three other Firestorm/Lightning Red Twins. Everyone seems to have white, gunmetal, and black. (White was definitely the most represented with 4 of them there, actually 5 but one guy left before the picture)



Only downside is that if you're a fan of funky/different colored wheels you're sort of limited on the color options in terms of what looks good with red.

Sometimes I wish I got white to go along with my MR2. But already having a white MR2, I wanted something different. Red is way too hardcore for me although I love red on this car. It pops hard!

Ultimately I went with blue because it's a little more under the radar and less subtle than the other colours. Anything but silver, grey, or black. Sucky bland colours! Also, I've never owned a blue car before.

The honest truth is that all the colours for this car suck ass! They should've offered more wild colours like how Ford did with their ST.

But between white or red, seriously, flip a coin! They're both pop on this car.

Both the most pure JDM colors as they're the colors of Japan's flag.

I chose red personally, because everyone I spoke to was getting white. I think white looks great, but I'd already owned a white Supra and decided I wanted a more ostentatious choice for my next color.

If you really care that much about what people think you look like with a certain car color, then go with whatever that random person told you.

If not, go with white. I went with it and I love it. I originally wanted it in blue, but white shows off the lines really well.
