FYI, La Honda and Alice's area will be swarmed by bicyclists and other traffic by about 10AM. If you just plan on cruising that's fine, but I'd suggest an earlier start.

100% right.

I drove from 92 to Skyline -> 84 La Honda -> up HWY 1 this past weekend. I hit skyline around 8am and it was a glorious straight shot all the way down 84 without any other traffic. I doubled back to run 84 a second time and it was scattered with pelotons of bikers by 8:45

Will include a short video one of these days and join the gang.

I might be able to go to this, but I live about 90 minutes away from San Jose and I have plans later in the day. Can someone highlight the route you guys are talking about? I want to make sure I can get home in time.

I'm not too good at Google maps but essentially it is this (We will drive all of this and then eat after we come back on La Honda to Alice's)

Leg #1

Start: Peet's Coffee - 1330 El Paseo de Saratoga, San Jose, CA 95130
End: Alice's Restaraunt - 17288 Skyline Boulevard, Woodside, CA 94062

Aprox: 42 min according to Google maps

Leg #2

Start: Alice's Restaraunt - 17288 Skyline Boulevard, Woodside, CA 94062
End: Hwy 1 and La Honda Rd

Aprox 22min according to Google Maps (we will run this there and back, so double the time)

The routes may not takes us that long but if we hit traffic/cyclists you never know. Should be back home before 1

There is also a meet in Sac Saturday. They are going to Sac raceway all day for test n tune (drag strip) and then we are going out to Dave and Busters at night I think. Search Sac86 on FB as most of their activity is on there.

How I miss that place. I blame that place for getting me into cars and getting me into a lot of mischief at that same time. Dayum street race(r)s!
