Hey guys, i recently flashed stage 1 tune to my 86 and on the first drive when i gave it a bit of throttle it started blowing a bunch of black smoke, also it back fired when i put my foot down in 6th gear at low revs, is this normal? do i just need to give the ECU more time to learn?
Also i have catted EL headers and full 2.5 in exhaust and perrin CAI.
Thanks.

which tune did you use? Need to make sure it matches your setup... such as stg1 EL rather than just stg1. Sounds like your running too rich. I recommend picking the closest tune, flashing again, then taking a data log of a 3rd gear pull and post it for review.

I would really love to hear a sound demo with OFT stage 2 and OFH with stock exhaust if anyone has this setup!

I have a question from OFT guys .
I use E100 pure 100% ethanol in my tank.
I interested to use stage 2 E85 oft OTS maps but i need oft guys customize this map for E100.

can i expect oft guys customize the stage 2 E100 map on their local dyno and send me the map via email ?

I'm not sure but i guess custom dyno tuning is better than customizing the map via romraider.
If OK please tell me the cost?

Use the 2.06x maps they are newer and better, make sure you use the definitions that come with the 2.06x download for editing if required

OTS 2.063
Thats virtual dyno ?

Could be loss of traction , bump in road traction control cutting in, error or insufficient logging data rate

don't really know

@Shiv@Openflash do you guys have any plans to implement a Flex Fuel kit vs just the E85 map? We have it a few places locally, but I honestly don't want to mess with switching maps back and forth when I can't get it.

Sorry to spoil the party but shiv said flex fuel or map switching aint going to happen. Its not a limitation of the OFT
It would require extensive re-write of actual ECU code, rarther than just changing table values as is done for tuning.
If someone wrote the code it would be possible.

Its Ecutek only for those features for the foreseeable future

Damn. To be honest I'd be perfectly happy with fast map switching like Ecutek. I HATE losing the throttle calibration and that's holding me back from trying E85 now that I have all of my exhaust bits on.
