I drive a manual and it would be helpful at the track.
Last track day I noticed it's very touchy at high RPMs (almost like an on/off switch), so when going around a long turn or coming out of one it's a bit jumpy when barely touching the throttle.

It's more responsive because it's in the power band, working as intended.
