I'm sure. You can have film with UV protection on it, but it can not have a tint.

There's still that psychological effect of the bright light which makes it "seem" like it's hot but it's not.

I currently have 3M Crystalline in 40% and it still "seems" hot. But when I get into my non-tinted back up car...it makes a world of difference.

Does not fly in California. Other states yes.

So, I've extended my court date.
I have to pay my bail and correct my violation by March.
I have purchased the Grimm speed relocater kit.
I'm going to take off the tint and put it back on. My car isn't sexy without tint!! Hahaha

Thank you guys for all your input and advice! You are greatly appreciated!

I have strong tint on the back window and the rear side windows and it looks great from any angle but direct side view...

Do you have a picture? Lol I just feel naked if the front windows aren't tinted! They can see me! It's fun when I get out of my car and it's a female! Like what! Hahaha

Guess it would be stupid to suggest going with legal tint, but I am going to anyway.Limo tint is just asking to get pulled over imo.

My brother purchased a car out of state (on the east coast) with limi tint. He got pulled over right as he crossed the state line into Gerorgia. They made him pull the tint off the drivers window right there on the side of the road before they let him leave with the fixit ticket so..... It could be worse.

this is what i did when i had fix-it no front plate.. i taped my front plate to the bumper (w/ doubled sided painter tape).. i parked the car facing the station, they zoomed into the camera and see that i have plate on and signed it off.. i walk out to my car and the plate was hanging by the last piece of tape .. i grabbed it real quick and just drove off hahahha

so check how your local pd is.. put on your plate properly and see if the guy will go out and check for your vin, and say u need more time to remove tints... if they don't check for vin, then switch with someone w/ no tint.. problems solved

All of you that recommended this are asking for trouble? Why risk to get yourself buried even more over something so petty. And not only that, possibly the owner of the vehicle you are "borrowing" as well.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read as a solution to a fix-it ticket problem.
