HELP!!! Fix it ticket

So I got a fix it ticket for my tint and no front license plate. Today I received my bail notice. I wanted to pay the bail amount, but it says next to it $50 + proof. I don't want to take off my tint nor put a front license plate. Can I just send in the check without the proof or I need to take off my tint and put a front license plate. Heeeeeeeeelp!! :mad0260:

Just take a picture of a car like yours. But then... They'll probably run the plates...

Pretty sure you have to put the plate on and remove the tint

u actually need to get the ticket signed off at your nearest police station.. so before going to the police station correct the problem then you pay the bail. when i got my tint i paid extra $$$ to get a limo tint but comes with unlimited warranty if i get ticketed they will remove the tint and put it back after i get my citation signed off.. its so worth it

Yeah, I'm not sure if my tint place does that, but it doesn't hurt to give them a call. Ill check it out. And as for my license plate I'll just buy the license plate tow hook thing. HAHAHA so I can screw it off and on. HAHA :lol:Thanks!

Yeah, you do have to fix the stuff and get it signed at the police station.

I believe you can just pay the fine and NOT fix it (but it's like 200 dollars or something) and if they pull you over again for it they'll see in the system you never got it fixed and it's a more dire consequence after. (This is what I've heard other people doing).

To fix it -- Just put on a front plate with the tow hook and remove the tint. Bring it to a police station (Sheriff, LAPD, Highway patrol..etc) they will check and stamp and sign the ticket.

You then bring the ticket and 50 dollars to the court house and close the case.

For me -- it was stupid, I ripped my tint off and the police never checked my car. They just told me I wasn't supposed to tint my windows and signed it. LOL I could of kept my tint.

Unless you have a friend whos a police officer then they can hook you up

Whenever I had a tint issue I just went to the local PD and explained to them that the tint is the lowest degree(keep receipt in car) and most of the time they understand because the sun fucks people up out here haha. Also please note that yes even at night you can see through the windows.
