Not convinced I would live after one!
Would give it the old college try though.
What states are these places in anyway? I travel a lot and don't think I have ever noticed one (wasn't looking either though)

From wiki.

Evangelists will have you believe this is the best thing since sliced bread.

In all honesty it's a high quality, simple, fresh, tasty burger from a true fast food place with very good customer service, it doesn't live up to the hype for many people's first time who enjoy something a little heartier or more greasy, and of course no bacon or bbq options.

They're still family owned and they are doing a good job about controlling growth and quality so don't expect them up in the great white north any time soon.

I really hope they don't lose the recipe for quality over the coming years, it would be sorely missed if it went downhill.

In-n-Out is good, but I prefered "The Habit" when I lived in California.

I like In-n-Out's burgers, but don't care for their fries. I do like their way of doing business though!

Either one is better than any of the craptastic burger chains available to me here.

Think of a '68 VW bug and you'll have it.

As the map shows, they have just come to the Austin metro area. Ridiculous lines the first few months, with cars lining up around the block. Now it's a bit more in proportion. Very good hamburger, but nothing to write home about IMO. Five Guys is much better.

We are now officially way off topic, if there ever was one.
