1. My 2012 Prius came with them off the boat, pre-dating GT86 by a year.
2. Listed as LRR on tirerack but relative to others maybe not as good.
3. I'd hate to drive on anything with less dry or wet grip and soft shoulders. I replaced the Prius tires during the first week, they were dangerous in the wet. When accelerating from a stop around a corner to enter traffic, the traction control would almost always engage, slowing the car at the worst time. Part of that might have been due to the instant torque of the electric motor, though.

User reviews of the tire place it 10th in category, I'd rate it unacceptable due to lack of real world wet grip.

I have a fair bit of wet driving experience on many types of tires and places including the UK. I'd rate the Primacy near the bottom of the touring group even for use on Prius. I get the desire for having a loose, oversteering default attitude, but for even less money than the OEM tire I have a true all-weather performance tire, the PSS, that gives a more neutral, safer feel and has a 30K mile warranty. Win!

I have a story to share too, I was at Zion national park a day before new year. It was amazing and I was having my zen moment till It starts to snow all the sudden... The car don't like the snow one bit, not even 1cm of it especially going uphill. >__>

The stock tires aren't so great when it's cold out, either. Hence the switch to Ventus Noble 2.

Also, headlights help at night.

Ain't that the truth!! 16 degrees out on dry pavement and no way could I accelerate on a left turn from a red light with out kicking the back end out. Made me wonder how bad it would be if a deer jumped out and I had to really hit the brakes.
