I wouldn't bother, it's not that bad. If you go through the dirt, you will really need to clay the car after, but as far as rock chips you should be fine.

Off/on topic: Anyone ever taken their FRS to the track in Riverside, Adams Motorsports Park?

Don't bother with Adams. Been there done that, it's really a track where one wrong move will cost you. Grangé is a gokart track as well, but they're in no way comparable.

I'll be there. My first track event in my twin, and my pops first track event in his MX-5 Club. Not gonna lie, pretty excited not only to give my car a nice little flogging but this track should suit a bone stock MX-5 pretty nicely.

Since I only live 35 minutes from Willow Springs, that's probably the next event coming up on my list. It will just be nice to get out and hone a little control techniques in this car while I'm not on a public road.

Gates open at 8 but track typically isn't hot until 9. I get there around 8:20-8:30
