You are right it gets easier with practice. I have been driving MT for 40 years and give shifting no more conscious thought then I do steering or braking. It just sort of ...happens.
Sorry, not in Vancouver. In a small city nearby, but did not want to disclose location. Hopefully I reach that level of consistency with the MT.

I think Forza is the best balanced racing game. You can sim race around the laser scanned tracks or you can build fantasy cars like a Mazda RX3 with a 20B Turbo, or a 2000GT with a 2JZ, or a GT86 with a V8 Twin turbo. Something for everybody.
I definitely agree after Need for Speed Most Wanted for playstation 2 Need for Speed went down hill for me. Forza Horizon 2 is like what need for speed used to be plus more just wish they could get porsches back!

The one and only racing game I ever played where I didn't get my ass handed to me by a 8 year old!

It's depressing when I expect a wave and all they do is either give me a funny look or purposely ignore me. Out of 8+ encounters with the driver seeing me, only one of them has resulted in a positive response...the only male dare I say it.

On the other hand the one positive response was REALLY positive. Even his female-friend pitched in if I remember correctly.

Not saying it's a valid sentiment (pretty stupid imo, it's a machine not a lifestyle choice) just that this thread is a shining example of the stereotypical "Scion enthusiast".
My modded exhaust system came with my used car, and it does sound to my liking (a.k.a) not too loud. No other exterior changes were made (unless you include the clear Bra and the 50% tinted windows). I will confess that many students at my school do think I have the best sports car on the lot, but they typically attribute the reason to being that mine is the sole "manual" sports car on the lot, even winning their hearts over the v8 Mustangs and Porsches ("YES!"...I know, I know, superiority thing-a-ma-jigger).

I've seen Scion owners who attempt to portray their car as being much better than it really is with sub-par components, but as I'm sure you know, nearly every manufacture has "those" consumers. I'm sure you have a reason for singling out Scion owners. Maybe you've been active in Scion forums before. Dunno.

I probably have the same reasoning for writing this post as you did with yours, as in I don't really expect this reply to mean much to anyone, I just needed to kinda...say it.

I know that feeling. I see twins everywhere when I drive my Saab/Motorcycle/Scooters, very rarely see them when I'm in my FRS.

I need EA to make a proper burnout first. Man I enjoyed Burnout Paradise so much.

Sad to see Need for speed rival is basicly Burnout Paradise with 50% of the game left haha.
