What TP-LINK? The WiFi dongle? You plug it in one of the USB ports in the back of your Dashlinq4

I think. It's the little sensor with a usb that comes in the small white box. Someone told me I had to plug it into the computer and run the cd. Which is all in chinese.

Eh. It doesn't look nearly as nice as the Ca-Fi, aesthetically speaking. But hey, whatever floats yer boat.

Anyone having issues with the bluetooth module after applying the latest firmware and MCU update (9/12/14)? After the update the HU no longer recognizes the BT module; When I open the BT app the pop up reads: "No Device Found. Device Name: ERROR." and also under 'Device Info' in the settings it lists the BT module as 'Unknown'. I shot CaFi an email about this and am waiting to hear back. Resets and reapplication of the firmware have not helped any. Wondering if anyone else has run into this?

UPDATE: I had a more recently produced HU which was not supported by the previous firmware update versions. Innotrends sent me the correct files and it worked like a charm.

This one was about $360 and comes shipped ready to plug in and go. The unit showed up literally 4 days after ordering, I was shocked. The stock ROM is android 4.2.2 but can be upgraded to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 and rooted very easily.

The actual manufacturer is Klyde. See discussion here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2660662

That unit definitely looks nice, but I was definitely looking to ditch the dvd... I actually went ahead and ordered the Carpad though

I'm going back to stock. Probably going to sell my car.

Selling my Dashlinq4 (Toyota Universal)

Haven't had any issues with it. Still in perfect condition. No scratches. I had it in a Subaru, so you'll have to make a new harness, or i could... they're only like $5 on amazon.

$400

*edit
SOLD

Looks really good just one question is that the 4.4.4 updated screen or the 4.4.2? I will probably order this unit since mine died a few months ago.

I saw that one recently too. Like someone on this forum said in a thread on this unit, the lack of physical controls is a little disappointing.

Having 4.4 would be very, VERY nice, but the whole "no buttons/knobs" thing? I don't really know which one I want more.

Maybe CaFi will update the dashlinq to 4.4 soon.

The android version you see in the picture is 4.4.4. The weather widget turns into music controls for radio/music files/Bluetooth or whatever is being played.

Plenty of discussion on that XDA thread if you want to see what the issues/limitations are.
