I bought it as a longterm keeper and its a second car. As a depreciating asset, I plan to keep it until it doesn't pay to sell it. Yes I sometimes wish it had a little more power but HP is costly to add. On my WRX I need only flash with a Cobb AP for another 30 HP. So, enjoying the car for what it has to offer, it is a great looking and feeling keeper for me. I am hoping it will be just as much fun a decade from now. Perhaps in a while I will go FI, but only if I can afford to burn that money.

I loved my BRZ but I moved somewhere it was not going to work out. I could have gotten a winter beater but I dont believe in owning a car I dont drive regularly.

Although comparing my current car to the BRZ I miss nearly every characteristic.

This will be the eventual reason for the sale of my BRZ, I think. Got my eye on a 997.1 Carrera S lately. It means I would have to also sell my RS6 and replace it with a more fuel efficient and lower-cost daily driver. Hopefully a newer A4 2.0T with sport pkg. It seems silly to me to have a 200hp coupe for weekends and a 450hp sedan for a daily driver, other than the fact that I do quite enjoy them both.
