Day 2. Currently in the tint shop waiting room.

Requested 100% legal tint (35%, Maryland). It's an asphalt fr-s btw.

I'm very happy w how the tint turned out. Didn't think it'd be that dark

Ordered O.Z. Formula HLT 17x9's (+42)

I know the weight isn't great, but they are flow formed and I like the look. Going with the carbon/silver center caps, I don't care for the faux GT style lug covers.

I won't be putting them on until August or so, want to use up my stock tires a bit (I drive a lot).

Did you buy from Tirerack?

Their closeout pricing is a pretty sweet deal, been thinking about it myself.

Yes, I couldn't pass up their deal, I don't think you can do any better for a set of flow-formed wheels from a respected company.

That is crazy cheap. Surprised that the 17"x8" isn't marked down. I'd pick them up as winter wheels if I could get them that cheap.

What is the deal with the center lock cap?

It's really just a lug cover. I am going to use the traditional center caps.

It was a little raining out so I decided to take a picture.

I also did some experimenting with the light tints

I personally like black the most. What do you guys think?

The black rocks!
The yellow just looks like you are worried about bugs flying at you or the car has jaundice!
