Base price is $52,995. Add tech and track package and still be under 60K. Price has not been released for the R version yet which will include CCB's

I can't wait for the exhaust companies to get their hands on this car, because the first thing they're going to do is get dat Ferrari sound. I look forward to hearing the internet butt hurt just like last time with the M3 comparisons.

MAPerformance 2015 Ecoboost Mustang Build

Hey guys! Though I would post in here since it's not FRS/BRZ related, but I am pretty excited to say the least! We just picked up a 2015 Ecoboost Mustang with performance package last week and will be playing with this for the foreseeable future. I will admit, I have never really been a Mustang fan with the exception of the classics, and the 03-04 Cobra's. But this car could change my mind. So far we just got our baseline done, and will be updating this post as we develop more toys.

If it weren't for the weight, I'd be all over this car. The gt350 version has definitely got my attention though. Nonetheless, nice dyno. That tq curve is nice and chunky all the way through.

I totally agree. You can't beat physics. It does not feel as sharp or nimble as the twins, but it does feel more tossable than the 5.0 and V6.

259whp and 268wtq. Peak boost of 20.19 psi. This is through the 6 speed manual. Flat torque curve from 2200rpm to 5000rpm, it does fall off from there.

Seems pretty good, it is a shame the platform weighs so much though.

I like the car as well, but I can't help wonder why ford design the ECU from the factory to fall off so much at the top end. I guess they wanted it to be quick on the street where 95% of people will drive this car. I am excited to see what ppl do with the car. I think it looks really good. If this was out when I purchased the twin, I might have went this way

lol guess this is exactly the car for people who see high revving engines as a chore, the exact opposite of a toyobaru, an ecoboost owner needs to stay under 5.5 while we have to stay over :P

Will be awesome when the aftermarket figures out how to reliably unleash the engine (not that it isn't already), I have a hunch the V6 will be discontinued in the near future, this just seems better in every aspect except initial purchase price.

Pretty much nailed it. Small turbo that spools quick for that low end torque most Americans want. I can understand that. 90% of the time, that's where I am when daily driving to and from work. But we will most likely look into some factory turbo upgrades like we have for the Evo's and Subaru's. It really does need some more top end grunt! I do love how easy everything is laid out on this car. It really was meant to be modded

Prototype downpipe and intake in the works today. We also have the new Cobb AP to do some OTS maps, as well as our own custom tune.
