Just a point of clarification, obviously foobar is not saying you should use the NA tune as your baseline to get you to the tuner once you have the kit installed. That would certainly result in a blown motor.

Right - I wouldn't drive on any tune not designed for the kit installed, but if your intent is to work with a baseline tune and you have some idea of how tuning works, then you're better off starting with the NA tune than with one designed for a completely different kit.

Custom E-Tuning is not an option for an FI kit that the tuner does not already have a baseline for, and each baseline is going to be specific to the various components of the FI kit in question - Intake, Boost, MAP sensor, Header, etc.

Basically, your baseline is going to get you over 90% of the way there, and for daily driving, can be considered "good enough". A custom tune on top of that will get you the rest of the way, if you need to get there, that is. Further, there's the additional argument that an e-tune will never replace a dyno tune as far as getting every last ounce of tweaking, so consider what your requirements and goals are to evaluate what makes sense.

All of that is well beyond the scope of your immediate need though - you need to get yourself an Innovate baseline tune. If you're trying to use another kit's FI tune as a starting point, you're likely better off just using the NA tune as your starting point.
I do understand hence why I'm asking for a base or a half ass solution that I can use as a base...

Will look at switching solutions I guess; thanks for the help.

the thing is i'm NOT interested in your ASSUMPTIONS, they're NOT helpful. Either you work for Shiv and know exactly the reason or let Shiv answer questions.

the fact is the FI tunes, unlike all others, aren't freely available which led me to believe that they're private for those who bought the kits from Shiv. Thanks to Foobar (and it's a fact as he personally received the tune) I know now that those tunes are also available for OFT users on request (at least he got it from Shiv).
They are helpful when they are fact, which Foobar's post and others by shiv confirm it. But, by all means, continue on with your diatribe.

Malt is correct. Creating tune files for Stage 1, Stage 2 EL and 2 UEL for 91oct, 93oct and E85 AND also for every single one of the dozens of calibration IDs is a tremendous amount of work. And making sure they are good enough for public download is another challenge. Trying to do the same for FI kits is too much and potentially quite risky for both parties. Before providing our customers with FI tunes, I like to get info about your set-up to confirm that the supplied map is suitable (safe) for their particular application. I've seen people attempt to use certain FI maps for (wrong) applications where there was great potential for problem. I don't want to see people experience engine failure just because they made a mistake. Lastly, I don't understand what your issue is here.

Regards,
shiv
