Have you had your car in the snow yet on the pro kit? Have any big issues with ground clearance? I want to lower my car next year when I get new wheels and I was considering the pro kit. Part of me says it's just an inch. Other part of me thinks, well shit you scraped once last year.

No, this is my first winter with them, I think I'll be fine though. The pro-kit is a nice compromise between lowered ride height, comfort, and ground clearance.

Trunk will no longer open, Fob, Dash button and Button on trunk. Will try the emergency release in the trunk by going through the back seats. Anyone else of this issue before, could also be electrical as no click heard with hitting any of the buttons.

Are you sure the "cancel" button didn't get pressed by a piece of cargo or something? It's in the trunk, on the left side if you're looking in. I'd open it with your physical key, and check that button first. The "cancel" button disables any access to the trunk other than with the actual key, and is meant as a valet feature. Maybe you got really unlucky with something in the cargo area that just happened to hit it right. IMHO, that button should have had a cover on it or should have been placed on the "roof" of the cargo area to avoid accidental presses.

Also, how did you wind up digging up an older "winter driving" thread to post this question?! Lol.

It's the most current one I have been using for winter problems : Not a Winter Problem : Wiper Fluid has hit the Cancel button. What a horrible place to put it, no cover at all, now to read the book and find how to un cancel the trunk button. Also hard to turn the itty bitty key from the fob. Thanks!

I'm loving this, conditions are ideal for hard packed snow roads, perfect for sideways shenanigans...

The only problem now is that I have to drive back down to New Mexico, and the roads aren't looking too pretty.
