Yeah I know what it does, but I was wondering how easy it was to remove if a dealer tried to force it upon someone.

Also, uh... this isn't a "loading gravel into the trunk" car. This is a drive it around the track car.

Nope, Forum Fest is 6/23 Pacific Raceways NOS Sponsored Event

I'm not sure how the First 86 were determined but I'm getting my FR-S next week! I'm getting the Raven colored one with BeSpoke premium audio. I'll be the first in my city to have one. Maybe the first in my state, not sure. But can't wait to drive that bad boy off the lot! And by the looks of this one, it seems like I made the right color choice! SWEET!

Are you saying that you aren't a First 86 and you are already getting your car?

I mean, unless I am unknowingly a First 86 winner.. Haha! But yes, I'm receiving mine next week. I didn't find out about the whole First 86 contest until after the fact that I reserved mine at my local Scion dealership. I put my name at the top of the list to receive the first one they get. And I've signed all papers so I'm ready to drive off next week when they receive it. Another bonus is I bought it without the usual premium price addons they love to stick on a high demand car. Dealerships are marking up each FR-S/BRZ $3,000-5,000 just because of it's high demand.

There's already two in your state and one in Tampa so the dealer is probably blowing a little smoke up your butt, but congrats on getting a car. Post some info on the Bespoke, because I don't think anyone has one yet.

Us first 86 already saw the bespoke and how it works. As for the other, I wouldn't have posted that IMO. If scion finds out jobs could be lost. Scion is protective over its events. Also the frs might get add ons, but pure price is to stop "mark ups" dealers can loose the right to sell scion cars for ignoring the pure price from what I've heard.

What? I thought only the BRZ was getting marked up?

It isn't illegal to be put on a waiting list for the car if I didn't put down any deposit or reserve of any sort. It was based on word. So I was told I'd get the first and now I am. As for me having the first in my state, I was wrong. I called and they told me one has been sold in Clearwater and another in Brandon, which are cities surrounding my city. So I will be the first in Tampa and the only one for a while at that. Which makes me happy enough! Also I will look up BeSpoke technology for you and post details here. Also, the BRZ has been marked up $5,000 in some cases already in my city. As for the FR-S I'm not sure if it is in violation of the pure price program but from what I've overheard they will be marking them up $3,000.

No, he should post that! I think he should go further, and start naming names. He's not ripping off Scion by getting his uncle to get him a car early (if that's true), he's ripping off the customers who won, via contest, the right to be the first 86 in the country to own this car. Now, whether that's all that great of a prize doesn't really matter; if I won a free coke in one of those twist-cap contests, that doesn't mean someone's entitled to arbitrarily take a chug out of it because "it's only a coke." Not to mention that if what he says is true, the dealership screwed over the other people in line for the car. Sorry... which dealership was that again, Dan?

Also, inviting a heap of scorn by coming on a forum bragging your uncle got you a car before everyone else (did your daddy get you a pony when you were 10, as well?), and showing a remarkable lack of knowledge about the car on top of that. Not positive, but I think I smell troll.

It is, unless some very greedy Scion dealerships want to lose their license to sell Scion cars. To date, I've seen dealers trying to tack on accessories, and maybe pushing the boundaries on "document fees", but none of them have been outright marking the car up over MSRP. Frankly, I don't think FR-S Dan knows what he's talking about, and I yup... I do smell troll.
