Cars are only worth it to be stolen if they can chop it up and sell the parts. Seeing as how few of the cars there will be on the road. I doubt it will be worth it to sell it as scrap.

Yeah no one steals a car just to keep the car. They steal it for its parts. I mean id see ppl stealing a BRZ premium for its seats. Things like that.

HAha. I remember when a bunch of guys tried to steal some lady's car but they both couldn't drive stick.

Bahahaha.

What a fun article to read. xD

Yes, which is why I feel the launch parties are a horrible idea for the buyer. People riot and kill for sneakers, this is one hell of a new Air Jordan.

This might be the stupidest post I've ever seen. I love the dedication of news and such on this site, but some people are just idiots.

People steal common cars like Honda Accords/Toyota Camrys so they can strip and sell the parts or blend easily. Hondas from the 90s-early 2000s are simple to steal. The door locks and keys are a joke.

You're right, but when my '00 Civic Si was stolen and found 3 blocks away on fire, nothing except my personal belongings were removed prior to the flame job.

Just because there won't be enough of them on the road to conceal the stolen parts, doesn't mean it won't be stolen for a joy ride or just to be an asshole.

You're actually attempting to apply reason and rationality to a thief?

I don't want to give off the wrong idea but I can assure you any decent thief would be reasonable and rational...at least relative to their own goals. Otherwise they wouldn't profit and they sure wouldn't get away with it.

I will keep my racist comments to myself about who drives these cars (not the pickups)

Chevrolet C/K 1500 (1994)
Acura Integra (1994)
Dodge Ram Pickup (2004)
Nissan Sentra (1994)
Toyota Pickup (1988)
Toyota Corolla (2007)"

Notice only a couple are less then a decade old, and the newest is also one of the most common cars in America.

Anyone with the skills and tools needed to steal a car with an immobilizer is going to be doing it for more then a joyride.

thats the point im trying to get across, there's alot of people out there that will just steal for fun.

Maybe brz/frs wont be stolen per-say, but it will get a dent or two, key marks, ect, ect

nice cars being vandalized because of haters
