So I promised that once I received my crash bolts from Subaru I would report on the quantity that comes per package. It is in fact only one bolt per package. Also just had the alignment done and was able to achieve a staggeringly large -1.0 degree of camber!!! lol

So tire size is still up in the air as to what's the widest ypu can get before it becomes slop in fast transitons.

I'm torn between either 225/45 or 235/40. I like the idea of a shorter tire to help with acceleration. Only downside is currently there are no RS3's in either size. May have to stick with Z2 star specs for these sizes.

I ran 245/40/17 RS3V2's at nats. They do have transitional issues, but not too bad. Definitely better on low grip surfaces than high grip. I plan on switching to 225's once these wear out.

I was wondering what happened to that guy. I never had a problem with him, but I know he was a drinker (my kind of guy). What happened? Competing while intoxicated?

there should be a separate competition where you chug a tall boy then spin around a baseball bat 10 times and then try to drive in a straight line on some beater car. (in a closed off and safe environment, of course )

I think it was the bold. Though it is hearsay, and I could've been 6th to 10th in the telephone line, purple monkey dish-washer and all that.

I usually like to lurk and not post but thought I would step in before rumors got started.

I'm from Mark's region so I know why. It had nothing to do with intoxication. Let's just say he pissed off the wrong guys. He was on probation for some unsportsmanlike conduct due to conflicts with other RM members. But the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back was an incident at the local RM Solo auto-x where his car moved on grid while the jr. karts were running. The happened right after the event where the girl jr. karter died. It started a shit storm and calls were made.

I like the guy, he's always been helpful and pleasant with me but some in the region didn't feel the same way.

He was on probation for some unsportsmanlike conduct due to conflicts with other RM members. Cops were called, it got ugly. Well that's a major bummer for Mark. I only met him once when I ran a buddies SRT-4 in DS, and he seemed like a very cool guy. Thanks for chimming in with accurate information. I'm sure Mark will be more than competitive when he returns.
