I'm running the Drift Armor drift crash bar on my car with the FB turbo kit.
It all fit just fine, my washer bottle is still in it's stock position but now doing duty as a methanol tank for my meth injection. Here's a pic of the front, not sure if you can see the drift bar, but the intercooler mounted directly to it, similar to how it mounts to the stock bumper bar. |

Well, I dont want to exaggerate either way since I cant ever seem to find any real data to show the differences. I.e. I haven't seen dyno charts of the same car with only the turbo itself swapped out.
But even then, I'd rather go for the Stage 2 with a smaller turbo and then upgrade just the turbo later. I still end up saving on having to buy the intercooler once instead of twice. |

My gtx28 made more wtq than a gtx30 making almost 100 hp more just to give you an idea. The gtx35 running at below it's efficiency range (basically anything the stock motor could handle) probably won't drive very well. A pump gas tune with stock engine and a gtx35 will feel pretty bland and gutless. That turbo really doesnt start to shine until over 500whp.
You really need to figure out your target hp before picking a turbo or it won't be efficient. Gtx28 - 400+whp gtx30 - 500+whp, gtx35 600whp. I do wish I had the stage 2 intercooler though.

the stage 2 intercooler is a monster lol. 5" thick core. the rest of the dimensions are the same, all of the width is in the rear and it just touches the ac condenser.

Oh damn. My radiator is moved forward significantly. Guess it wouldn't fit.

So back to my ignored question....randomly running rich under partial throttle on my way to work. Never done it on the way home. Very intermittent and no codes.

I store e85 in 55 gallon drums and one of my drums had moisture in it.

Not sure what I want to do next, gtx2867 is pretty quick but that gtx3071 or 3076 is still tempting

Gtx30 is silly on a stock engine. and I already make enough torque to shear 4th gear off at will on my gtx28.

Does E85 go stale over time? I've contemplated buying a couple 55 gallon drums, but it would take me a long time to go through that, as often as I'm driving the car right now.
