I believe you can use *just* the Stage 2 supercharger kit, if you have your own EcuTek. However, it is possible Cosworth may decide to not make their tunes to those that bring their own EcuTek license (but I find this unlikely). If you bring your own EcuTek, an want to use Cosworth's calibrations, expect to have an additional charge for their calibration.

For example, if you already own EcuTek, and purchase Jackson Racing's "TIY" kit, you can still purchase their CARB tune for $500.
So can just the 1.1 be purchased without the ecutek cable/license? I am interested in just the axleback.

They are ETA next year. There was a (very) small batch released, but it will not be available to the general public until next year.

I'm curious if you could buy a TIY version of the supercharger. Also how would this SC work with a different header back exhaust system (if it would work at all)?

I've asked them about it and it doesn't seem like they will do it or give a break in the pricing. You can obviously use whatever tuning solution you want, but it's not going to make the kit price any cheaper.

I wouldn't really run any FI on this car without getting it custom tuned.

Doesn't really matter what header back system you use, it's just an exhaust.

What? The supercharger has absolutely no connection to the exhaust. You can run any header or exhaust system you want with a supercharger.

Hang on a moment

their site offers the kit as a stand alone set of parts, I think that you get the calibration / tune with it but you don't have to use it

just like any of the other kits you can fit it and tune it yourself

I would imagine they offer the kit with 2 options in tunes. One tune for if you are running the stock header and the other tune is if you are running their header/exhaust package.

With any of the 2 tunes, you can modify the cat-back exhaust and get away with no re-tune just like with the Jackson Racing kit. The moment you start messing with the cats and especially the header, you are gonna need a re-tune.
