Can afford $25K for a new car, but can't afford $2K for suspension?? This place baffles me.

Buy quality and cry once, buy cheap and cry many times.

If you're just going to daily your ride, BCRacing will be just fine. Otherwise, save up for better quality. I have the BCRacing with 10k springs and haven't experienced any issues. Make sure you set the preload correctly and get an alignment afterwards. Also, get LCAs/ camber bolts so you can adjust those during the alignment.

Definitely good bang for your buck would be BCs.
But your best bet would be to wait for boxing day sales.

BC's are one of the better quality cheap coilovers if all you are concerned about is lowering your car. However, they will not out perform a good spring and strut combo or even the stock suspension. They aren't balanced specifically for the FRS/BRZ or any car for that matter.

Just because you will have a stiffer ride does not mean your car will over all handle better.

If you just want low for now, buy a set of Eibach Sportline springs and save money for better coilovers later. You'll get a 1.5" drop which ought to hold you over until you can afford something decent. That's what I'm doing anyway. Taking a bit longer as I want Öhlins Road and Track...

Ya It was just the clearest one I could find!
Count the center overlap as "not bloody likely"

I saved up for this car for a while and after dropping 35k cash I'm not exactly keen to spend 2-3k for wheels, 2k for suspension, 7k on a turbo kit and another 2k on exhaust like what people on the forum say Im supposed to spend.
Sorry for seeming hostile but you are a member of a car forum dedicated to an ENTRY LEVEL sports car so really if this baffles you then I would take a step back and look at the nature of the car you purchased.
I totally agree that it is best to save up and buy the best quality you can and be happy with what you have in the mean time but you and I both know patience advice is easier given than received.
